About Us
The Laramie Board of REALTORS® (LBOR) was chartered by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) in 1945.
The Laramie Board of REALTORS® (LBOR) officially joined the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) on August 15, 1945, with five members: Harry J. Heying, E. G. Jackson, E. E. Fitch, L. J. Holliday, and F. O. Rice. However, the original LBOR was short-lived, disappearing in 1948 according to the National Roster of REALTORS® and being dropped from NAR membership in 1949. By the time of NAR’s Board of Directors meeting on January 12, 1949, only two members remained: E. E. Fitch and E. G. Jackson.
LBOR later reorganized and was reinstated as a NAR member in 1963 with nine members, as documented in its application. It disbanded again in May 1966, losing its NAR membership, but reformed a few months later with nine members and jurisdiction over Laramie (Albany County), Wyoming.
For NAR’s records, the original 1945 charter date remains the official date of LBOR’s affiliation, as it marks the initial approval of Laramie’s application by NAR’s Executive Committee. The 1963 and 1966/67 dates are considered reinstatements rather than new charters.
Today, LBOR proudly serves over 145 REALTOR® members and 16 Affiliate members with a territorial jurisdiction of the entire City of Laramie and all of Albany County, Wyoming.
LBOR provides its members with a range of benefits including professional education, networking opportunities, industry tools and resources.
Membership also grants access to both Wyoming REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

Every LBOR member voluntarily upholds a strict Code of Ethics, rooted in the principles of the Golden Rule:
"Whatsoever ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so to them."
