The Laramie Board of REALTORS® and Laramie MLS have multiple membership options. Choose the membership type that best fits your needs.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

Primary REALTORS® pay local, state and national dues through this Board and consider the LBOR their primary Association. Primary REALTORS® gain access to the MLS and the Paragon lockbox system.

Secondary REALTOR® members receive the same rights and privileges of Primary REALTORS®, but hold primary REALTOR® Membership with another REALTOR® Association.

MLS Only Participant/Subscribers are REALTORS® that belong to another Association of REALTORS® as a Primary and only want to participate in the Laramie MLS. Your office and responsible broker must be established with the MLS.

NOTE: For all applications, if the office is not listed in our Member Directory, that office is not currently a member of LBOR. Only the Responsible Broker or Appraiser of record with the Wyoming Real Estate Commission can create a new office. Any new office application completed by anyone other than the broker or appraiser of record will not be processed. All applications are subject to approval by the Board of Directors.

Affiliate Members are professional services and businesses that provide services to REALTORS® or to their clients. Often Affiliate members join LBOR to access the REALTORS® through sponsorships, education and events.

DUES FORMULA

Commonly referred to as the “Dues Formula”, NAR Bylaws state that the Managing Broker’s annual dues are equal to the number of agents in their office times the dues amount. Since we bill each REALTOR® individually, the Managing Broker’s dues are reduced each time a dues payment is made by an agent.

We audit primary and secondary offices with LBOR memberships throughout the year to ensure REALTOR® office compliance. If an agent has an inactive license or has no REALTOR® membership, the Managing Broker is notified that their office is no longer compliant, and the Broker will be billed for that agent.

NOTE: Per the LBOR Bylaws (see #3 in Membership FAQs), a REALTOR® who changes the conditions under which he/she holds membership shall be required to provide written notification to the association within 30 days.
